Xiaojin Zhang received her master’s degree in environmental science and engineering from a joint master program at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Stanford University in the United States in 2010. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Sichuan University in China from 2005 to 2009, with research focus on LCA and LCIA studies in energy depletion potential and acidification, and LCA study of electricity grid system in China. Before being a researcher in Technology Assessment Group at PSI, she had worked as an environmental consultant in Singapore, doing sustainability studies and assessment of technology alternatives through applying systems dynamics modelling, as well as data analysis in energy systems, transportation, water resources and waste management. She has worked on projects including swiss nuclear power and TA-SWISS geothermal since she joined in PSI in 2014.
Xiaojin Zhang will be involved in Task 4.2 Global Observatory of Electricity Resources, and will be working on the characterization of technologies within the scope of SCCER SoE including the definition of goal and scope, detailed LCA and LCIA of these technologies, and result analysis.
