Keita Yamamoto

Biographical Summary

Keita Yamamoto was born on November 25, 1988. He finished a master degree at Osaka University in 2013, and then started a doctoral study at the Laboratory for Hydraulic Machines in École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. He is specialized in the analysis of a behaviour in hydraulic machines.

SCCER-SoE Responsibilities

He is working within the WP3.2 HYPERBOLE research project, granted by the European Commission (ERC/FP7-ENERGY-2013-1-Grant 608532). The project aims to improve the prediction of pressure fluctuations for the full-scale turbine at off-design operating conditions. Keita Yamamoto focuses on the investigation of the cavitation phenomena in the deep part load operating condition of a Francis turbine.
