Dr. Loïc Andolfatto was born on October 2, 1986. He graduated from the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan and from the École Polytechnique de Montréal in 2010. He completed his doctoral studies in 2013 at École Normale Supérieure de Cachan. His employment experience included the corporate research center Innovation Works of EADS (now Airbus Group) prior to join the Laboratory for Hydraulic Machines at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. His special fields of interest include design for manufacturing and optimization.
He is working within the WP3.2 in the framework of the DuoTurbo CTI project number 17197.1 PFEN IW. The project aims at providing an industrial and competitive family of low CAPEX integrated energy recovery stations for water utility networks. Loïc Andolfatto focuses on the system engineering and the optimisation of the mechanical design.
